Mapping and GIS

The use of 360º video has completely changed the field of Mapping and Geographical Information
Systems. As the video is captured, each frame is tagged with GPS coordinates as well as the time
index. Plotting these coordinate sets allows us to overlay projections of the route of the camera onto
maps using standard ESRI™ ArcGis tools.

Videos below demonstrate some of the footage we can achieve with the camera mounted on a helicopter.

We imbed our clients' GIS and other meta-data into a
three pane view so that clients, project staff and other
stakeholders can see not only where they are (and look
around), but incorporate data such as:

Land ownership boundaries
Environmental data
Key site locations
Mileposts or other markers

This ESRI™ ArcMap extension allows users to import and
integrate interactive, immersive videos into ESRI ArcGIS.
Immersive routes are imported as a layer, and the spherical
player as a built-in view pane. Clicking at a point on the map
loads the spherical video showing the full 'world-view' image,
and an interactive video specific to the GPS coordinates.
The camera works with Windows XP and Vista Pro or Home,
Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 or higher, ArcGIS
ArcMap 9.1 through 9.3.1.

The versatility of the camera allows it to be mounted almost anywhere: a car, a train, even a
backpack. These videos show the amazing shots you can get with a 360º camera.

By capturing an entire site with Immersive Video, you can plan the execution of a project, make decisions and analyze
progress - all without leaving the office. We put you in the middle of the environment and deliver precise information so you
can look at the same feature, location or object from every angle. By integrating Immersive Video with georeferenced data,
providing complete information for planners, engineers, environmental consultants and others throughout the life of the project.
